There is always that awkward moment when you enter the third-floor hallway in the Mayflower Hall Building, Pennhurst. You can't help but stare down the seemingly endless hallway, searching with your flashlight for something - anything - out of the norm. The hope is, of course, that you won't see anything standing there. But even if you can't see something with your naked eye, you still have the feeling that you're not alone.
This is me as I have one of those worried moments.
The Mayflower Hall Building is located at the notorious Pennhurst State School & Hospital.
