With Spring upon us, I was recently going through some of my Pennhurst pictures. This is one of my favorite pictures of the grounds. Among, the overgrowth and sometimes muddy terrain, one can find some really unique trees. Like Pennhurst, many of the trees are old. This particular tree caught my eye.
Many of the buildings are still surrounded by growth. It aids in the eerie, almost serene atmosphere of Pennhurst.
