Hot! That would be one word to describe the pulsating heat this past weekend, July 20 & 21 2019 at the annual Pennhurst Paracon. But that didn't keep guests from coming out to hear the various lectures, meet celebrity guest and to see the awesome Pennhurst Grounds. Vendors, including myself shared in the experience.
Pennhurst employees did their best to accommodate the guests, trying their best to keep everyone cool. One could only admire their efforts. For the most part, everyone had a great time despite the scorcher.
I met some book fans who'd read my GHOST OF MAYFLOWER books. I always enjoy talking with readers and hearing their own ghostly tales.
A few of the customers also shared their own spooky happenings while at Pennhurst for the paracon. Here are the ones that stood out the most.
A woman was walking in the woods towards Pennhurst, when she heard a voice whisper in her ear, "that way."
A man said that while in Mayflower, the back of his head was touched and someone said into his ear, "Get out."
Another shared a picture of someone's back with a red, pin-prick looking hole. Their friend had said it felt like someone had poked them. This was in the Mayflower basement.
Others spoke of faces in windows...
All in all, most of these incidents are typical of Pennhurst paranormal. Looking forward to next year!
