Anyone familiar with Pennhurst State School & Hospital can attest to its supernatural attributes. But catching anything on camera is another matter altogether.
I'd like to think I have a steady hand and a pretty good eye behind a camera. But none of that seems to matter when it comes to Pennhurst. About 4 out of 5 times my pictures come out this way.
A weird display of freakish supernatural art?
Below is an older picture I had taken years ago on a regular camera. It too is strange- stranger still because I had been working at Pennhurst at the time and felt as if something had followed me home.
No matter what the explanation or your take on the photos, one will have to admit something strange is going on at Pennhurst.
Pennhurst State School and Hospital is located in Spring City Pennsylvania. (1908-1987)

Currently, Pennhurst Asylum is open for the Halloween attraction and tours. Thursday-Sunday - ticket booth opening at 6:30pm
