This picture is the rear side of the Mayflower Hall Building, Pennhurst in Spring City, Pa. If you are not familiar with Pennhurst, this state and mental hospital closed its doors in 1986 after an 80 year reign. Parts of the property are now being used for a Halloween attraction. The Mayflower Hall is used as a ghost hunt. This picture was taken in the off season, when no one was in the building. In the 2nd floor window, two faces peer out into the yard. These ghostly apparitions, a woman and a little girl are often sighted together on the 2nd floor. The strange thing is - this building was a male ward.

GHOSTS OF MAYFLOWER: BOOK REVIEW
Recent Amazon Review:
5.0 out of 5
stars Can't wait to
go back and re-read!, July 17, 2014
I bought this after visiting Pennhurst and meeting the
author still working inside the Mayflower. I learned so much about the history
of the buildings I had walked through I couldn't put it down! I look forward to
going back to Pennhurst and using the information (with caution) Tamera provides
through her stories. Definitely sparked further interest to investigate, work at
Pennhurst, and learning about its horrifying and sad history.

Ghost Over Bed
Thought I'd share this picture of a ghost hanging over a bed on the first floor of Mayflower Hall, Pennhurst Asylum during the Halloween Season. A customer took this photo and sent it to me.
