FISHER-PRICE AIRPLANE |
Fisher-Price
Plane: Part 1
Can you
remember owning a Fisher-Price airplane as a child? Perhaps you have forgotten
the airplane over the years. But on the second floor of the Mayflower Hall
building, a Fisher-Price plane still exists. Found in the basement, this
Fisher-Price plane is a left over icon from the former Pennhurst State School
and Mental Hospital. It is an odd site in the creepy atmosphere and evokes pity
and childhood memories on Mayflower guests. Countless people have stated during
the annual Ghost Hunt that they too had owned the same airplane.
The
Mayflower Fisher-Price airplane is special indeed. Not only have people claimed
to have seen it move, but shadows or creepy images have shown up in pictures
besides the airplane. People have asserted that while touching the Mayflower
plane, they have felt sick or suddenly felt icy cold. One employee said she
had been pushed while touching the plane.
I have on
occasion handled the Mayflower airplane, mainly to protect it from being
stolen. Thankfully, the Ghosts of
Mayflower leave me alone. Perhaps they know I am watching over their favorite toy.
Whatever you
think, please look for the plane if you visit the Mayflower Hall Building, or
ghost hunt during the 2015 Halloween Season. Take a picture of the plane on your
cell phone. You never know what might show up.
